Complete Home Renovation & Garage Conversion Project
This extensive renovation completely transformed a dated two-storey brick home in Long Jetty into a modern coastal residence. Spanning the home's exterior, first floor and an existing garage conversion, the project involved a complete reimagining of the property while retaining the integrity of the original structure.
Working closely with our client throughout the renovation, every stage was carefully planned and coordinated to deliver a timeless home featuring light-filled interiors, quality craftsmanship and a cohesive coastal aesthetic.
The project included a complete external facelift, a full renovation of the first floor, and the conversion of the existing garage into an additional bedroom. Every aspect of the renovation was managed from demolition through to the final finishes, resulting in a home that offers exceptional street appeal, contemporary finishes and improved functionality throughout.
Externally, the home underwent a dramatic transformation with the construction of custom brick archways, sponge-finish rendered brickwork, new Blackbutt timber posts and screening, aluminium balustrading, tiled verandahs and stairs, timber-look panel lift garage doors, a complete roof restoration and a full exterior repaint. These carefully selected finishes combined to create a timeless coastal façade that completely modernised the original home while complementing the surrounding streetscape.
Inside, the entire first floor was stripped back and rebuilt to create bright, functional living spaces. The renovation included a brand-new kitchen, fully renovated bathroom, ensuite and separate WC, structural alterations to improve the layout, updated plumbing and electrical services, new flooring throughout, custom joinery, split system air conditioning and a complete internal repaint. Every finish was selected to create a fresh, modern interior with a seamless flow from room to room.
The existing garage was also converted into a fully insulated bedroom, complete with a new timber floor system, aluminium windows, plasterboard linings, lighting, power, ceiling fan and custom carpentry. The finished space integrates seamlessly with the remainder of the home, providing valuable additional accommodation while maintaining a cohesive design.
