CARPORT CONVERSION & MASTER BEDROOM EXTENSION

Transforming an underutilised carport into a new master bedroom and outdoor retreat.

The project began with an underutilised carport at the rear of the existing home. Our clients saw an opportunity to turn the space into a new master bedroom with a walk-in robe and covered outdoor deck.

The existing carport structure was carefully modified and enclosed to create the new living space, with the necessary structural work, electrical, insulation and internal finishes completed as part of the conversion.

Large double doors were added to connect the new bedroom directly with the covered deck, bringing natural light into the room and creating a strong connection between the indoor and outdoor spaces.

The hardwood deck and covered roof create a practical outdoor retreat that extends the new bedroom and makes better use of the existing space at the rear of the home.
