External Renovation & Deck Transformation
Transforming an ageing outdoor space into a coastal entertaining area.
This external renovation transformed a severely deteriorated timber deck at the rear of the home into a series of beautiful, durable outdoor spaces designed to make the most of the home's spectacular Avoca Beach outlook.
The existing rear deck was replaced with three new tiled decks across three levels, creating a seamless connection between the home, pool and surrounding landscape. Frameless glass balustrading was used throughout to maintain the uninterrupted ocean views, while the new tiled surfaces provide a practical and low-maintenance outdoor entertaining area that complements the existing home.
The Transformation
The existing timber deck had deteriorated significantly and required a complete rebuild. The new design introduced three levels of tiled outdoor living, carefully constructed around the existing inground pool.
The result is a much more functional connection between the home and the outdoors, with generous entertaining areas and clear sightlines across the pool and towards the ocean. Every element was selected and constructed to balance durability, functionality and the coastal setting, while maintaining the clean, contemporary feel of the existing home.
