INTERNAL RENOVATION & ENERGY EFFICIENCY UPGRADES
Reworking an existing family home to create a brighter, more functional and energy-efficient living environment.
This renovation transformed an existing three-bedroom brick home in Wamberal through extensive internal alterations and upgrades designed to improve the home's layout, natural light, comfort and functionality.
The project involved reconfiguring the existing internal layout, introducing new natural light through three Velux skylights, upgrading windows and doors to double glazing, and creating a series of thoughtfully designed spaces including a new kitchen, butler's pantry, feature fireplace, master ensuite and custom walk-in robe.
The Transformation
The internal layout was reworked within the existing footprint to improve the flow and functionality of the home. Three Velux skylights were introduced to bring additional natural light into the living spaces, while new double-glazed windows and doors improved energy efficiency and acoustic comfort.
The renovation also included a new kitchen and spacious butler's pantry, a feature fireplace and new Tasmanian Oak select-grade timber flooring throughout the living areas. The master suite was upgraded with a new ensuite and walk-in robe featuring custom joinery, combining practical storage with a considered contemporary finish.
